My name is Zara. I’m a 25-year-old writer living in Chicago. I’m a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia and I have a graduate degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
I love TV, magazines, fashion, summer and city living. And I really, really love food.
I enjoy all food – from cheeseburgers to sushi; home-cooked to gourmet; salads to desserts and everything in between – if it’s edible, I’ll try it once and I’ll probably enjoy it. I’ve never met a cuisine that I don’t like.
For as long as I can remember I’ve been the person my friends call when they need a restaurant recommendation – so I thought
“why not blog about that?”
Chicago has a fantastic dining scene. To be perfectly honest, I’m often overwhelmed by the sheer number of choices we have here. But of course, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
This blog is a place for me to share my opinions on the restaurants I try. I’ll categorize them by cuisine, ambience, and my overall impression. I’ll shed some light on whether or not I feel the meal was worth it. I hope some of you use this blog as a way to make the immense dining scene in Chicago a bit easier to digest.
Need a restaurant suggestion? Send me a description of what you’re looking for and I’ll do my best to point you in the tastiest direction.
